Project: PR campaign to launch the Bank of China’s UK subsidiary

Summary:

The Bank of China hired 93½ to help announce the opening of its UK subsidiary, which was opened to capitalise on the increasing volume of trade done between China and Europe.

93½ created a media strategy that would engage both the UK and Chinese business media and included a press conference and one-to-one media interviews, for which we produced Q&A briefing documents to prepare senior executives for the UK media.

93½ also worked on crafting the marketing literature to ensure the benefits of the UK subsidiary were clearly promoted.

The launch received wide spread media exposure including Bloomberg, Reuters, BBC, Financial Times, Daily Express and a host of Chinese media.
